Description:	This Apprenticeship will cover a range of general computing and IT skills that could be needed in many job roles or industries. A world without computers is an almost impossible thing to imagine, businesses would stop, find information would be slow and there would be a lot of stuff like papers to file away. So luckily there is such thing as a computer, and each day the capability of a computer has become more complex and powerful. So that’s why IT is one of the most important industries around. There are over 20 million people in the UK that have IT in their jobs, but some do struggle with applications and general computer skills. So this Apprenticeship will help you to develop the skills for your specific future job, it could be for teaching someone in finance to process account details more efficiently, helping stock controllers to keep track of their merchandise, or helping a secretary set up and online diary. As an Apprentice you will learn how to operate computers and databases as well as how to use and maintain IT systems and networks. IT is an increasingly important area whatever role you take; you will be a part of a fast moving and ever changing sector.
